Ingredients
- sweet potato
- salt & pepper (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 410°F.
- Prepare a sheet pan with non-stick aluminum foil.
- Wash each sweet potato by scrubbing and rising under water.
- Use a fork to make small holes in the sweet potatoes. This allows steam to escape during the baking process and prevents them from exploding.
- Bake in the oven for about 60 – 75 minutes.
- Test to see if they are done by poking with a fork. The texture should be soft. At this point, you can bake more to get caramelization.
Note: Baking times may vary based on size of sweet potatoes. Use personal judgment.
